Guys! I made pies again last night. Two good American friends I haven’t seen since living in Cape Town came over for dinner.  Due to our lack of dining space we usually serve pizza, but the cold weather made me want something warmer.  

Enter pie.

I made two amazing pies: Squash & Mushroom which I know… why would anyone eat a vegetarian pie. But it’s sooooo good it was eaten faster than the meat option!  The Chicken and Leek was also delicious and perfect with the sweet potato fries!

If you’re looking for good easy pie recipes look no further than these two. I prepared the filling the night before so it was easy to make the night of without spending the whole time in the kitchen.
