Last week I took part in the JP Morgan Corporate Challenge and helped the LSE team post a pretty respectable time in the 5.6km race around Battersea Park

Like most work-related events the run was followed by a trip to the closest pub for mandatory cocktails – we deserved it allright?

Also, the British 10k London Run was last weekend.  Alex and I ran it, and contrary to our facial expressions in these (clearly not paid for) photos, actually enjoyed it!

After 57:52 of running along part of the London 2012 Olympic Marathon route I was so happy I couldn’t even keep my eyes open.

And then of course we did what all serious runners do.  A £4 Full English at the Rendez-Vous cafe down the street from our flat.
