Last night we went down to Battersea park to celebrate Bonfire night, a very English holiday celebrating a failed terrorist attack and subsequent death of Guy Fawkes in the 1600s! The fireworks at Battersea are massive and our friend Clare is lucky enough to live down the street so it was to her place for tacos and cocktails, then over to the park to watch the show. After multiple queues (it is a British event after all) we made it over to a great open area to watch the show.
It turns out we were standing in the fall out zone. Literally having to dodge falling firework casings and the odd live firework was a part of the 20 minute show!
