Last weekend we were invited up to Monymusk Scotland for Theo’s 39 Steps to 40th Birthday Celebration!  Theo’s mom and partner Sir Archibald Grant graciously opened their rather large House of Monymusk to us for an amazing weekend of good food, friends and drinks. 

We got a full tour of the house, that dates back to the 13th century, and had an amazing picnic with fresh cider in the reading room on Saturday.  (lets just say the weather in Scotland lived up to the rumours)

Tea and Supper were 1930s themed in the Parlor and Great Dining Hall.

After dinner there was a special Fireworks show for Theo across the River Don

And then of course, being in Scotland, we got into some Ceilidh dancing

Sunday was spent in the sun! Enjoying some lawn games and walks around the estate.

Not a difficult life to get used to
