Contrary to what a lot of people think when I tell them I blog, I don’t spend all my time navel gazing and reading my own stuff. Actually, as soon as I hit publish I rarely even look back for spelling mistakes.
Most of my time online is spent reading the other amazing stories out there. I’ve just discovered Bloglovin’ and now have a handy list in my browser of all the new blogs from my favourite writers and friends.
Here’s what I’ve been loving this week:
- Liz Goodchild (of Write this Run fame and fortune) writes about risk and vulnerability. It is the truth.
- Following the same theme, this is an awesome article on why Expats are so fun.
- Robin Arzon is a huge running inspiration in NYC and she wrote some tips on overcoming your fear of the track.
- Becs and Charlie are taking their love of run clubs one step further and leading their own speed sessions with Sweaty Betty on Wednesday nights. I love people who put their money where their mouth is (or running shoes where their mouth is?) and just do it, so go and support them – and get faster!
- Sarah writes about her 24 hour race (and the associated, erm, issues) in an awesome post that opened my eyes to a whole new type of race, with camping!
- The always reliably funny Cake of Good Hope passes along some great cycling tips (and superb Venn diagrams) that helped me get to Brigthon last weekend without an major chamois-incidents on my bike-lady interface.
